CARDFLOW

Terms of Service.

Effective date: July 21, 2026

1. Who we are

CardFlow is a macOS application developed and operated by CHAN HO FUNG, a sole proprietor based in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). Contact: support@trycardflow.com.

2. The product

CardFlow is professional camera-card offloading software for macOS, built for working photographers and DITs. It copies media from camera cards or folders to one or more destinations with xxHash64 full verification, deduplication, camera attribution, and optionally (Pro tier) DIT card cloning, ASC MHL v2 chain-of-custody manifests, and PDF offload reports. The software is licensed, not sold.

3. Licence

Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence key. A Standard licence may be activated on one Mac; a Pro licence may be activated on up to two Macs at the same time. To move the licence to a new machine beyond this limit, contact support. You may not redistribute, resell, or share your licence key, and you may not reverse-engineer the software except where permitted by law.

Two tiers are offered. Standard includes verified offloading, deduplication, camera attribution, folder structures, and History. Pro additionally includes DIT mode (full card cloning with ASC MHL v2) and PDF offload reports. The tier you purchase is stated at checkout and in your licence email.

4. Free trial

New installations include a 14-day free trial with Pro features. When the trial ends, starting new offload runs is disabled until a licence is activated; your existing History and report exports remain accessible.

5. Payments

Purchases are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payment, applicable taxes, and invoicing, and Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction. Prices are shown at checkout in USD (or your local equivalent).

6. Refunds

If something isn't working for you, contact us at support@trycardflow.com within 14 days of purchase and we will work with you, including refunds handled through Paddle where appropriate.

7. Updates

Your licence includes application updates delivered through the built-in updater. We do not guarantee that any particular future feature will be delivered.

8. Your responsibilities

CardFlow is a data-handling tool. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your media and for verifying that offloaded files meet your needs before erasing source cards. You must use the software in compliance with applicable law.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always available at this page. Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
