An offload is not complete
until every file is verified.

CardFlow is a professional camera-card offload app for macOS. Copy media with full xxHash64 verification, skip files already verified, and use Pro to create ASC MHL v2 manifests and PDF handoff reports.

For macOS 14+ · Apple Silicon
Verification you can rely on

Written is not verified. Verified is ready to hand off.

CardFlow reads every file back from the destination and compares it with the source hash. A file is marked complete only when both values match.

Full xxHash64 verification

For every file, CardFlow hashes the source, writes the destination, reads the destination back, hashes it again, and compares the results. Primary and safety destinations are verified independently. The green progress bar tracks bytes verified—not merely bytes written.

See exactly which file needs attention

Read errors and structural issues in JPEG, RAW, MOV and MP4 files are checked during the offload. Any problem is attached to the individual file and retained in History for immediate action and later review.

DIT Mode

A professional handoff needs a verifiable record.

DIT Mode preserves the complete card directory structure and creates ASC MHL v2 manifests, giving every offload a clear verification and chain-of-custody record.

Preserve the full card directory structure

DCIM, PRIVATE, AVF_INFO and other folders are copied in their original hierarchy, including hidden items. The handoff retains the source card's organisation for straightforward receiving and review in post.

ASC MHL v2 chain of custody

Each card receives its own MHL manifest with per-file xxHash64 values and a record of every offload. Re-offloading the same card extends the same chain, creating a continuous custody record.

PDF handoff reports

Export a professional offload report from History in one click, including source and destination volumes, Clips Overview, video format details (codec, bit depth and chroma), per-file hashes, and verification status.

Built for real production workflows

Clearer from card insertion to handoff.

Dedup

Skip files already verified

When the same card is offloaded again, files already verified are not copied a second time. After a continued shoot, only new files are processed.

Dual destination

Create a primary copy and safety backup in one pass

Write the same offload to two different drives, with each destination hash-verified independently.

Camera ID

Identify which camera body captured each file

CardFlow reads camera model and serial data from supported formats. Two identical camera models can still be distinguished by serial number; some cameras or formats expose the model only.

Flexible sources

Use cards, SSDs or HDDs as the source

In addition to camera cards, select any folder on an SSD or HDD and apply the same verification and reporting workflow. Folder-source mode does not modify the source content.

History

A complete record of every offload

History shows the result at a glance: green for complete, yellow for warnings, red for incomplete delivery, and grey for cancelled. Per-file details remain available for review.

Performance

A fast, stable Rust core

Copying and verification are handled by a high-performance Rust engine, with a responsive interface, Traditional Chinese and English display, and live time-remaining estimates.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from copying in Finder?

Finder copies files but does not create a per-file source-to-destination hash verification record. CardFlow reads files back from the destination, compares hashes, checks supported file structures, and keeps the result in History.

Can CardFlow identify the camera model and serial number?

CardFlow supports RAW, JPEG, MOV, MP4 and other photo and video files from most commonly used cameras. When the required metadata is available, it automatically identifies the camera model and body serial number. Some cameras or file formats may provide only the model, while others may not expose complete camera information.

What is ASC MHL, and who needs it?

ASC Media Hash List is a media-hash manifest format commonly used in film and television workflows to record file hashes and offload history. DITs and anyone providing a verifiable production handoff can enable DIT Mode; everyday same-day work can use full hash verification without MHL.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 14 Sonoma or later on an Apple Silicon Mac. CardFlow currently supports macOS only.
